So close... yet so far!

So, as you know, I am a new Independent Scentsy consultant. {I've only been doing it for two weeks.} I am about $250 away from making my goal this month. I've been doing great, and I am soo close to my goal that it drives me crazy, lol. Since the end of the month is this Saturday, and I trying to get promoted to Lead Consultant, I was hoping that my bloggy friends would be interested in a chance to become the winner of my mystery hostess party! All you have to do is go to my personal website, and order something (you can be from anywhere in the U.S.) and you will be entered for a chance to win ALL of the hostess's rewards. This includes 1/2 off items of your choice, and free products. Personally, I love free stuff. :)

This party will be closing on Saturday, April 30 at 3 p.m. Est. So, the winner will be notified immediately to close the party up. My Scentsy website!

Thank you, and good luck! :)

Goodnight Moon song link up! {It feels like home}

So, I love this song, and when the Mr. and I have our actual wedding, this will be the song that I will use to make a video montage with. It makes me cry everytime I listen to it, and if you are a sap like me, grab a tissue! Enjoy-- and don't forget to go and link-up with Goodnight Moon to add your song of the week.

I'm definitely on a high...

A Scentsy high that is!! I became an independent consultant two weeks ago, tomorrow... and I can't believe how fun and easy it has been to sell! I really love this stuff! Thank you to everyone that has visited my website, and has ordered, it has really been helping out. One of my biggest goals is to become a director, and of course I need to build my team. So, if you love Scentsy, I would love for you to join my team, {really!} I honestly got into it because I love candles, and I was really worried about the government shut-down. I wanted to do something that I could control, ie. my own hours, my own income, etc. I didn't want the pressures of having a job, and having someone let me go because they are down-sizing. Plus, with a shut-down or not, I wanted to contribute income to the family. Whether it be to help pay the bills, or even for recreational money. I have been truly excited lately, and hopefully my smile is infectious. For my personal Scentsy website: Click Here

So, with that, this past weekend was a lot of fun! It was low-key, but it was very pleasant. It was Easter of course! The girls really liked their goodies in their Easter baskets, and egg-hunting at Yia Yia's house. Plus, the dinner was amazing as well.

I've also lost 4 inches from my thighs, hello! Yay me!

I was also a little bummed that I've lost some followers lately. Bummer.

How was your Easter weekend?

Goodnight Moon Link-up Song: Red Light: Jonny Lang

I did the song a day early, oops, lol! So, here is my song!

Join her link up!

I am thankful that my best friend introduced to me to Jonny Lang back in high school, and I instantly fell in love with his soulful voice. This song still holds true for me, I could let keep life flying by without care, or I can stop and breathe it in, and keep going.

I would love to give these chumps (the male veteran bloggers) a run for their money! ;p So, there is a special link... http://milblogconference.milblogging.com/408/best-u-s-military-veteran-blog/ and if you love my stories, please feel free to vote! I've been very tired lately...

GI what??

Ever since I've gotten back from Parris Island, my energy levels has been run down. It started off with a frontal sinus infection, and an extremely sore throat with tender glands. So, I went to dr. complaining about my throat, and they tested me for mono, strep, the flu-- the usuals. Those all came up negative. They did a basic complete blood count, and that looked normal. So, then this past weekend, I went back with chest pain. Here I am thinking that I have bronchitis or something since I didn't have a productive cough, and immediately they think that it is my heart. Granted, I had bradycardia back in 2007 after having Miss K, and with that they were worried. My EKG came out normal, and so did the chest xray. So, then they figured that I was having acid reflux. I had an ah ha moment. Yesterday was my ears, nose, and throat appointment with the ENT. He wants to do extensive blood work, and see if I have any autoimmune disease that is making me feeling so cloudy brained, and exhausted. He is going to look for mono, (not the rapid test that was done previously) Lupus, and Lyme disease. Lovely, right?

Although in my head, I need to see the GI specialist because it is obvious I am having some gastro problems  I've ignored for the past few years. When my gallbladder was removed, I assumed that certain things that have been occuring were normal since being removed. Apparently, that may not be the case. So, hopefully I will find out some answers soon. Right now, I get to take my generic Zantac, and hope that stops any more damage the acid is doing to my already raw throat.

In other news...

Do you remember the {post} where I mentioned the free Scion military appreciation care package? It arrived--only a week later! :)  It came with the bag, a large tshirt, beanie, chapstick, a cool pen, a key chain, ear plugs, 2gb thumb drive, a complimentary 1hr internet card, and 3 free ring tones. :)

Oh, and don't forget, I am having a ThirtyOne party online at: www.mythirtyone.com/terricrocker  If you would like to help me reach my $500 party goal to get a rolling tote, please order for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate. You have until Saturday, April 16 at 2pm est. Every little bit helps! Don't forget to click "to order" twice to find my name! Thank you!! :)

{My Fairy Tale Wedding} Please vote for us! :)

Disney is doing a contest right now that you can enter to have a complete Disney Fairy Tale Wedding completely paid for--including airfare with up to 3 guests. This is something I truly would want to win! :)

So here is our "USMC Love Story" bio:

My Love Story is:

My husband and I met when we were both active duty Marine Corps in Hawaii. We fell in love rapidly, and couldn't bare to be away from each other for long. When he got orders to California, I was able to follow him to the mojave desert. Luck would have it, and he was set to deploy three weeks after we had a quick wedding in Vegas with an impending pregnancy.

With two back to back combat deployments, and two precious little girls with a purchase of a new home; we unfortunately hadn't had the time nor the money to have a fairytale wedding that I've always dreamt of with my prince charming. A Disney Fairy Tale wedding would be the perfect vow renewal with our love ones to witness! :)

So, please visit HERE to find us, and vote! Our submission should be on the site within 24 hours, and I when I see it, I will post the actual url! Thank you! :)

And a nurse was born...

I was talking to one of my besties, (she had her son the same day I had Miss K a few rooms down) and her sister was in the room holding onto my legs, giving me support as I was bringing Miss K into the world. I had a lot of friends in the room (including my sister) during the birthing event since the hubby was forward deployed, and even though I was a bit hesitant at first, I am so glad that they were able to share this experience with me. I am particularly honored that my friend's sister at that point in witnessing Miss K's birth, decided to become a nurse. Next month, she will be graduating with her bachelors in nursing!!

I am so proud (and honored) Holly!! Congrats! {yes, her name is Holly!}
